Chris Dueitt spent 12 years with the Mississippi Army National Guard, 287th MAC. While stationed in Lucedale Mississippi, he saw deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan, serving with other national heroes that sacrificed and served our country in the U.S. armed forces. During his time in the military, Chris was a combat engineer 12B, proficient in installing and removing objects all over the battlefield.
After returning from deployment in May 2006, Chris got his first job with Performance as an Iron Worker. He attributes his career growth to working with and learning from some of the best in the business, and now works alongside those he learned from as a Site Supervisor.
Integrity is an impactful piece of what Chris learned during his time in the military, and something he uses every single day when working with Performance. Much like the military, integrity is a key part of the way we work at Performance, and Chris’s demonstration of that dedication to doing the right thing exemplifies the Performance way. Not only living it himself, but showing and teaching those he works with top model the same type of work ethic is important to safe, quality work that everyone can be proud of.
In his free time, Chris spends as much time with his family as possible. Going on family trips to their favorite vacation spots, as well as bringing them along to where he’s currently working so they can experience new places, the Dueitt’s do everything they can to maximize their time together. And, of course, fishing. Because, as Chris says “It’s good for the soul.”
From all of us at Performance, and on behalf all others, we’re eternally grateful for your service to our nation. Thank you for your service, Chris!
