Our scope on the Lake Charles Chemical Complex Project consisted of constructing a world-scale 1.5 million ton per year ethane cracker and furnaces, the Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) and Ethylene Oxide / Ethylene Glycol (EO/EG) PE derivative units.
Both heavy-modular and stick built approaches were utilized across the different units. This $12 billion world-scale petrochemicals complex has roughly tripled Sasol’s chemical production capacity in the United States.
