MHI/Exxon – North American Growth (NAG) Project

The North American Growth Project was an incredible investment by ExxonMobil in the Texas Gulf Coast to expand their position on the plastics market globally.

Performance Contractors was selected as the General Contractor on the Polyethylene project in Mont Belvieu, TX with two separate reactors and extruders each capable of 650,000 tons per year. Performance handled all construction activities starting from a green field site including 51,000 CY concrete, 8,250 tons of steel, 543,000 LF of Pipe with over 1,300 personnel at peak. Performance and subcontractors had a world class safety record with over 6 Million Hours Expended.
