On September 14, 2017 at the Marriott in Baton Rouge, Performance Contractors attended the GBRIA Craft Workforce Development Awards. Several local contractors and high schools were represented. Performance-sponsored schools Central, Livonia, and Plaquemine High Schools all received the Award of Merit or Recognition. Live Oak High received the Award of Excellence. Each school's welding instructor was awarded the Champion Award. In addition to our high schools being recognized for their efforts in workforce development, Performance received the Award of Excellence for Craft Workforce Development.
