Winning awards is never the original goal as we set out on a project, but rather doing safe, quality work. Being recognized with awards after the fact affirms how we approach our projects and reinforces the standards on which we’ve built our business.
We are thrilled to announce that Performance Contractors has been honored with several prestigious ABC Excellence in Construction awards, recognizing our commitment to excellence in project execution, safety performance, and craftsmanship. These awards are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, as well as our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional results for our clients and industry partners.

Working safely has always been the most important part of what we believe it takes to be a successful company, and that’s precisely why this first award means so much to us. Performance Contractors has been recognized with the prestigious Pinnacle Award, the industry’s highest level of recognition for safety excellence. This award is meant to reflect our company’s exceptional long-term safety performance and processes. Beyond just a single project, it highlights a daily commitment to, and pursuit of, safety. After being recognized with last year’s Safety Excellence Award, Performance was allowed to pursue, and eventually win, this incredible high industry honor.
Additionally, the Performance Contractors team was recognized for specific projects with two Eagle awards. The first was for outstanding work on the ExxonMobil Baton Rouge Advantaged Crude Expansion Project (BRACE). The second was for similarly excellent work on the Diamond Green Diesel 3 – Ecofiner Mechanical Project in Lafayette, LA. These awards highlight the exceptional performance of our team and industry partners on two complex projects. We’re thankful to have such an incredible, dedicated team that makes quality, safe work like this possible. We’re also thankful to our customers for entrusting us with this work and are glad that we were able to repay that trust with award-winning quality.
Lastly, we want to recognize the Performance employees who competed in ABC’s National Craft Championships. With our roots as a merit shop general industrial contractor, we understand and appreciate the value of the craft that goes into every job that we complete. We’re thankful to the six Performance employees who represented our company at this year’s competition in pursuit of recognition for their talent and safety.
